Door Knobs, Hose Heads, and Casters, Oh My!

This fall my favorite junk shop opened a 'vintage boutique'.  People lined up for the grand opening.  Oww some very cool stuff was snagged before I could get to it but I was able to get these 3 large jars.  I've had them on my kitchen island with fall stuff, then Christmas balls.  So what to do now?

I'm stealing copying this idea from someone out there in blogland.  Sorry, don't remember where, if it's you, give yourself a shout out and I'll give you the credit.

These lovely rusty bits are usually in a drawer, waiting for me to create something with them, for shame!  Now they're out in the open, practically yelling at me to get busy!
Some day soon, or not, they will become these.....

  1. I am also becoming a lover of vintage. Especially furniture. The quality is amazing!! Much better than what is made today. Beautiful jars and display!

  2. I could look at rusty, crusty objects all day long! Hmmmm, what could I put in some jars? Now we need to know all about the background window piece. Love it! And you need to get your doorknobs and hose nozzles into your etsy shop ASAP!

  3. Suzanne,
You were lucky to get those big jars...cool stuff inside.
I would probably use them for flour, sugar and tea. But that is the cook in me. Ha!
I just finished my sewing table and am going to post it today.
    Thanks for your comment.

  4. I love it, that you put all these rusty and old things on display - looks great.
